Your Friend

Random. QUICK. Story.
(i will be writing in purple today because the CATS won again last night:)

I am blogging today mainly because I haven't blogged in awhile, and also because Rachel keeps telling me to "BLOG!" Well rachel... according to my followers list- you don't even exist!

You creep on my blog without announcing your presence as a follower. Which pisses me off for two reasons-
#1. I only have 7 follower's. While this might not matter to some, it matters to me! I know there are more of you out there because I hear from you- regarding this blog- straight give away.
#2. When Rachel finally joins today, or else i will shut down this blog! That's a direct threat Chastain. I will remove myself from following my own blog, sadly, reverting my followers # right back to 7.

(this is the shit that keeps me up at night, OH, and neighbor deans recently installed spotlight. Which conveniently, and suspiciously shines directly into my side bedroom window- jerk!)

Back to the Random, Quick, Story...

When I went home for christmas, we had a high school girls get together at Sarah Clarks- of slarks remarks. That's when I noticed Radetic's save the date on the fridge (beautiful) & I'm thinking WTF Christin- I didn't get one!!!!
(Chrisin & I have been friends since 4th grade. So it's not like i'm a guest who thinks I'm invited when I'm really not)

Now, I know that in planning a wedding,
save the dates,
whatever,
you might forget someone here or there- you may not have an address,
you may think you sent it and you really didn't.

So, I'm sure it's annoying when a friend calls you up and says "i didn't get mine!"

I decided on a text- "Just saw Clarks save the date! I didn't get one:("

When we were in grade school, Christin and I had our birthdays together every year (her's is the 19th, mine's the 20th)

5th grade, we got mad at our friend Kate and sent her a note that she was uninvited, it was a big deal! 5th grade, univited guests, hey- she had it coming.

Then Christin and I get in a fight, same day, and I try to un-friend her- by signing the end of my note like this:

So when I got Christin's email, explaining that she sent it and it got returned, I told her she was lucky I didnt try to un-friend her again... because god forgive me, I was thinking about it!

In closing, Rach- if you don't start to follow i will un-friend you. I wasn't afraid to lose a friend when I was 11, I'm not afraid now.

P.S. This just made me realize that facebook has the un-friending feature, HEY FACEBOOK! I started that back in 1995! I expect royalties!

P.P.S. A group member in one of my classes un-friended me on facebook last year- I was a victim of my own creation...Sidenote,  he was a weirdo, and I totally didn't care.

Lady Mullet

FINALLY!
You have no idea how bad i've been wanting to blog...

but i've been working hard for the money (of which i've been spending faster than I can make-- sorry mom, can't break the habit) and I just haven't had the time to make this blog entry all that I know it can be:)

So, as promised,
"two words"
lady mullet

Friday evening.
I'm riding the light rail home from work- heading to pick up my parents, sister, & casey at the airport. To pass time- i start thinking about how uneventful and frankly- disappointing the light rail people watching has been for the week.

Not kidding, as soon as I start thinking about this, I start looking around, and BAM!

What is sitting right next to me?
None other than a lady mullet- sent from the light rail gods to brighten my day! Oh Thank You Lord... this is the perfect way to end the week... too freaking funny!!!

Now, this is where it gets interesting... I mean, this lady mullet is good.
It's truly screaming "take my picture!" and I'm thinking- "i've got my iphone?" I mean, i would be remiss if i passed up such a fantastic opportunity- and really, this is a hard lady mullet to describe-
it's unique, it's suave, I certainly wouldn't be able to do it justice!

Out comes the iphone!

Camera mode selected. ready to shoot.
Lady mullet- looking good...
1, 2, 3,

BAM!

Well... maybe a few more quick shots...

Let's Be honest, I'm not being very discrete with my photo op.

So as I finish up i look up and the older gent across the isle is watching me take Lady Mullet's glamour shots!

well guess what buddy... when you're looking out the window-BAM!

I took one of him too, for good measure.

The Spider Email

I realize how Cliché this is,

but this email is hilarious, the first time I read it I laughed so hard I cried- which surprised me... because normally when people do that (or say they did that)- I'm annoyed. But it finally happened to me, so maybe now i'll have more patience for those who say they "laugh so hard they cry," probably not- but this email is great! I'm only mad I didn't think of it myself.

Banana Republic Pants

I will make this quick... I don't have much time...
Spent the last hour and a half creating an Evite for my Holiday Party- that's the politically correct term- i think i invited all traditional people, but just in case I have a non-tradish, I had to cover my bases.

What's that? You want to know what the EVITE says? Well alright...

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Come Over and Play....
Wine & Cheese, Beer Pong & Smores, Come Toast the Holiday"

I knew you'd like it!

Now,
I have a story to tell you about Banana Republic pants. In telling this story, I'm also setting out to inform any of you who might be in the same boat I was... this has the potential to change your life- as it did mine.

A few weeks back i went shopping at the Castle Rock Outlets, I completely fell into the Banana Republic Outlet 40% off of the entire store! I was very excited and enlisted the help of a sales girl to help me pick out some basic work clothes. I don't normally ask people to help me, but for some reason I was in a good mood and thought i'd take this chick for a ride...

I really needed some black pants.. if you've ever shopped for pants at Banana then you know they have ridiculous names, so I'm all like...
"the rhonda's are too high waisted for me, and I don't like the nancy's back pockets with flaps, and the jennifers are too tight through the leg... and really none of them have pockets!!! Do you have a black pair with front pickets?"

This is when the sales girl changed my life...
"oh, they all have pockets" she says. "No they dont! I have like 5 pair of Banana pants at home and none of them have pockets" "Yeah they do, they're just sewn shut, you have to rip through the stitching once you buy them"

First of all, who does that!? Why in the world would you sew pant pockets shut? And... if you're gonna to do it.... why isn't there a warning tag "these pant pockets have been sew shut! (for some stupid reason) don't worry- you do have pockets! "

I bought 2 pairs of pants that day, went home, and spent 10 minutes of unnecessary time ripping open the 7 pairs of pant pockets. Now when I'm at the office, I find myself walking around with my hands in my pockets... very grateful that I have the option... and hoping people notice my now effective use of the front pocket.

-Blah-

Hi.

I wasn’t going to blog today.

I don’t have much to say, it’s freaking frigid outside (like a low of -3 last night), I’m studying for another CPA test, my boyfriend lives in another city, blah blah blah my life sucks, I don’t want to blog!

But I need a study break.

So here is a random assortment of thoughts, compiled just for you- my blog readers.

There is a Lesbian who rides the the light rail.
I know her sexual orientation because the first time I ever saw her, she got on with a coworker and  proceeed to come out to him- random Wednesday night- so weird. It was akward for everyone sitting around them, well... everyone who was listening to their conversation, and you know I WAS!  It went something like...

Lesbian: "So you have any big thanksgiving plans?"
Coworker: "Just family stuff, what about you?"
Lesbian:"well me and my partner kelly are going to new orleans to visit her family, they're not really accepting of us, but her sister just had a baby so we are going to see the baby. Yeah, so did you know i was a lesbian? I haven't told anyone at the office."
Coworker: "no, no i didn't know that. "
akward silence... my stop... really don't know if that conversation ever recovered.

Now, I always see her. Yesterday morning I got on, there she was! I sat down in the seat facing her because it was the only one open. Then, as I'm giving her the once over I notice she is wearing clogs. Really? Clogs? It's like 5 degrees and snowing! Don't your heels get cold!!!??? I guarantee people in your office know you're a lesbian... nose ring, shoulder length hair parted down the middle, of which it's obvious you didn't attempt to fix, probably combed through it when you got out of the shower last night, then slept on it wet. And CLOGS! I'd see you coming from a mile away..

Over thanksgiving, i fed a Giraffe a leaf....

Please note his big tongue about to seriously slobber my hand!

ALSO...

I drunk blogged Friday night! Lucky for all of us I did not post, I just saved the draft.

But it was serious... all about tiger woods cheating on his wife, and amanda knox being found guilty, and how we shouldn't trust anyone. It was an emotional piece, and when I found it & read it, i was proud of my work.

*The*North*Pole*

'Tis the Season!

This weekend the Griffins & I took a trip into the mountains- to the Luckylure christmas tree farm in Evergreen:) (featured in the picture above)

Emily did some research before we went so we knew this place was going to be awesome, but it really was amazing! I will quote Adam.. "I've always wanted to go to the North Pole!"

Snow on the ground, a fire to roast marshmallows, a frozen creek, elves to help you pick your tree, and even "warmers" at the register. (warmers=free shots, which we did)

It was one of those places you wished you'd found earlier- the whole time I'm thinking how much cooler my childhood christmases would have been if only we'd gone to this place every year instead of dragging the cardboard christmas tree box out of the attic and assembling the fake tree by its color coded branches--- I felt cheated.

So after the elf helped us tie the tree to the top of my car- we stopped in town for hot chocolate then made the trip back to Denver where Emily and I spent the rest of the night drinking wine and decorating the tree... here it is!!!

Christmas Wreath

I also hung our stockings on the fire place! (Mine, Luke's, & Kia's)

On a totally unrelated note...
Casey's family took pictures at Thanksgiving, we also took a quick shot, here it is!

Something about this pic screams sorority composite, like, remove casey and I'm back in the chi-o front lawn for my senior pic. I think I have 4 where I'm doing that exact same pose... well, actually, I only have 3. Junior year I refused to take my picture so they would write my name at the bottom in the list the people who are "not pictured:"... I have never regretted that decision.

Dear Tiger.

Dear Tiger, You're a tool!

I hope somebody takes one of your golf clubs and hits you over the head.

Sincerely, Lora

An open letter to helen, my ghost.

Dear Helen,

I'm not sure how to start this letter; first off, I should say that I'm not afraid of you. That being said, I hope you know I come in peace. Just because I took down your powder blue floral shower curtain AND the matching window treatment in the bathroom doesn't mean I wish you any harm- It just wasn't my style! And when I yell at you for making all the creaky house noises.... well, they are creepy and I get scared... so knock it off! Also, the other day when I was cursing your name from the driveway, remember I thought you were locking my car after I unlocked it. Well, turns out that's just a safety feature of the vehicle, if I don't open the door after so many seconds, it re-locks. Sorry!!! I really thought it was you. Hence why I threatened you to do it again, ("go on Helen, I dare you, do it one more time then we'll see what happens!!!")

Now let's get down to brass tacks, is there any unfinished business you would like me to take care of in your honor? Any last words you were not so inclined to utter? Any secret lovers who don't know you’re gone? I'm available to help! Although if it involves traveling I would prefer we keep it within a 100 mile radius, I can't be out trekking around the country, I’ve got a job and dog to take care of.

To wrap this up- please stop spooking any dogs/ Courtney Kelly’s who come to visit our house. (I call it our house because I can admit you live there too.) Now if you could just get on that same page- we wouldn't have to be having this discussion! Also, what were you thinking when you wallpapered one wall of the back room in that hideous floral pattern? Same thing you were thinking with the shower curtain i suppose. (Crazy old lady.)

Regards, Lora

Happy Thanksgiving

Ooh MY MY:)

I've decided to make a list (I've noticed lists are popular)

6 things I've learned in 3 weeks.

- Public transportation is an art I haven't mastered. Denver has a light rail that I take to get to and from work... convienent? Yes. Green? Hell yes. Can I do it effortlessly? No. I've always known I like to watch people, but I find myself staring at people and I never notice I’m doing it 'til they look right back at me. Light rail "House Rule's" must be DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT. Most people stare at the floor, out the window, read a book, well surprise! I’m looking at you. Lately, when I get caught I just keep staring... a nonverbal "that's right. I’m judging you." Well this habit recently backfired on me when I was noticing the man across from me was wearing all black, then a few stops in he started humming, then tears started rolling down his cheeks. I'm sitting across from him all like is anyone else seeing this?? Nope, nobody, NOBODY is paying him any attention. By this point I’m convinced the black backpack in his lap is a bomb and he's crying and humming to himself because he's on the way out and taking us all with him! I literally run off the train at the next stop. As I watch it pull away, waiting for the ball of fire in the distance, I'm wondering if I should have taken more people with me?
- Denver Public Transportation is SAFE. In regards to the aforementioned point, I would like to say that I believe Denver public transport is safe, and I may have overreacted. (Or his bomb malfunctioned and didn't detonate.. jurys out.) But seriously, I do feel safe while traveling to and from work, and I believe more cities (ahem... KC) should have these efficient people movers. It really gives you an insight of who lives in your community, and by observing who gets on and off at each stop... which areas of the greater metro you’re probably better off to stay away from.

-you have to follow before you can lead. Three weeks ago I started my new job. (I was going to put an exclamation point after that sentence and they i thought "really?") Anyway, all of you who know me can easily think of some choice words I would have to say about the culture of corporate america. But, a few of my colleagues read this blog. (shot myself in the foot with that one! It's like if i'd given neighbor dean this site, where would we be today?) Back to the topic- let's just say you have to follow before you can lead, ok, but i'm a leader by nature.... and what if, just because of the sheer design of the corporate tier, I have to follow a follower?

-The ticket lady doesn't take the ticket. Every day I park my car in a parking garage. You get a ticket on the way in, validate it, ride the light rail, when you come back... pull up to the ticket lady booth- she opens here fast food-esque sliding glass window takes your validated ticket, smiles at you like she remembers you and you're on your way. Or at least that's how I thought it worked. Until this week when I was exiting the garage behind a car and i noticed that the driver inserted his ticket into a machine, the bar lifted and he drove through- no interaction with the ticket lady? I'm shocked! So, I pull up to the same box; insert my ticket- bar goes up! All the while ticket lady is watching me like a proud  mother... and she gives me a smile as i drive by. Once again, ticket lady doesn't take the ticket.

-NEIGHBOR DEAN is a drunk. Seriously. I've heard him yelling in his front yard on two seperate ocassions now, both times it's mid week, in the 2-3 am range. Luke (my cousin/ roommate) asked him about it the day after the 2nd occurance and he denied it. He actually said "ah i don't remember." To elaborate... Luke works at the local tavern, he says all the girls who work there know neighbor dean as the dude who takes a different girl home every night. Then a week ago luke was in on a monday night and who shows up and bear hugs him from behind.... no need to even turn around... "oh hey dean! drunk? of course you are..." Dean said he just got back from a date... hahaha, 10pm on a monday "date night" show up wasted at the local bar, by yourself no doubt. Oh, neighbor dean.... why didn't you come to my halloween party? It could have been glorious.

-I always start things I can't finish/ LOOSE INTEREST IN: and the list that was supposed to be ten things, is now a brief six.

The Perfect Drunk...

How do you achieve the perfect drunk?

So tonight is my Halloween Party. And I'm excited! I'm also a little nervous. Two weeks ago I had a bad night. A VERY bad night!!! Most of you know exactly what I am talking about, wake up... not really sure where you are, why your head hurts so bad, by the time you FINALLY get around and into the shower you start to put together pieces of the puzzle from the night before. Shampooing your head literally physically hurts because you have such a killer headache. Your thinking to yourself all day... "oh yeah" & "oh god... i did say that?" and the day goes on, very foggy, you swear off alcohol then you go to sleep and have a whole new perspective the next day when you wake up. Then come 5 o'clock you're like, maybe I will have a glass of wine tonight. Just one.

Seriously, it was a Tuesday night. An unassuming, unsuspecting, tuesday night. I was on my way back to kc by way of garden city. I stopped there for the night, met Casey's mom and her friends at the country club for dinner, there was also an old friend of mine from college (Brian Goad) and the golf pro Ryan who is my age. Several tequila shots, a forgotten dinner, and too many gin a tonics ("just a splash of tonic") later, I was making my Brian pull My car (he was driving) over on the side of a two lane country road so i would puke. Then when I finally got back to Casey's parents house, his mom had to let me in the front door about 3am, I proceeded to kick my shoes off in from of her, stumble downstairs and woke up in my plaid shirt and underwear. WTF. I had drive that day, so I went about 60mph, and took way longer than I should have to get to wichita, where I had to explain myself to Casey. Thought I was going to die, correction... i was wishing i could so the pain would stop.

As I said before we've all been there, not just a hangover but a super duper once in a blue moon hangover. Those are the worst, but really any hangover sucks. Why is it that some nights, you can hit the perfect fun loving consistent drunk, have so much fun!!! and the next day your not really even that bad.

It is an art some people have mastered. I however, have not. So tonight is going to be my first attempt to consciously achieve the perfect drunk.

Don't even act like you haven't tried... don't sit there and judge me. I'm doing this.

On two unrelated notes...

-Neighbor Dean has been invited to the party!!!
-I didn't take the picture above, but I wish I had.

Neighbor Dean

So, I just moved into a new house right? Cute little neighborhood, lots of young adults, lots of singles who have purchased houses around the area. And our neighbor... Dean.

My very first night here, I was in the living room when a random guy walks in. "um, hi. can I help you?" "Oh hey, I'm your neighbor, Dean." Right then in my head I thought, "and I will call you Neighbor Dean."

As I have gotten to know neighbor dean over the past few weeks I would have to say he has no sense of personal space. For instance, the other day, looked in the backyard and there he was petting kia. He had jumped over the fence and was just petting my dog. I decided to creep from the window instead of approaching him and my dog (both in MY backyard.) As I watched I observed him take a pre-rock back and then jump back over the fence. Just like that, jump over, pet the dog, jump back. I'm thinking... WTF? THEN.... just last week I look out in the backyard again and see Kia  just chilled with a big yellow lab. Again, deciding to creep instead of take immediate action, I observe. And soon enough, here comes neighbor dean. Jumps over the fence, picks up the dog and throws him over, then grabs the fence, does one courtesy rock back and then jumps over.

Helen

Her name is Helen! Not shirley. Close, but she goes by Helen.

I found out when I locked myself out of the house this week and noticed we have a mail slot- where there was mail, addressed to Helen. The circumstances were creepy: locked out, dark outside- like 830, sitting there on the front porch with an AARP letter to Helen. But I am happy to report that there has been no mysterious movement, noises, no signs of Helen at all. Thank God!

Picture of Washington Park (its a big park, w/ lakes, & a running path around the outside)

Anyway, just went for a run around washington park (the neighborhood park) almost passed out- still not acclimated to this mile high city. Every time i remotely get my heart rate up I feel like I can't breathe.. like I need to lie down right there on the grass next to the sidewalk and catch my breath. They say it takes a while to get through a normal cardio workout at 100% like 4-6 months. great, perfect, I already have a hard time staying motivated, now i have out of shape/ might pass out to worry about when mentally debating when and if I should even workout on any given day.

Go Cats!!!
K-state Game at arrowhead today:( Wish I was there....

COLORADO!

I made it to Denver!

Packed up the big uhaul trailer Thursday night and made the trip on Friday... Car ride was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, actually seemed pretty quick:)

Bitty made the trip too!!! She was the worst part of the car ride, very restless. Here is a picture of here on my moms lap in the car, so cute.....

The house is awesome! I had never even seen it until we got here on Friday. (kind of scary) But it is way better than I expected, and bigger. My aunt had made a big dinner for us when we arrived!
Here is a picture of ME, LUKE (the roommate), & NICK (cousin).

After we got everything unloaded and I got right to work on organizing and DECORATING::::))))))

Really had it all finished by Saturday night, so we did a bbq on Sunday, Luke had some friends over, my mom, aunt & uncle were all here and Emily and Adam Griffin stopped by with their doggie Tyson (adorable). Tyson and Kia played the whole time, even met up for a walk in the park yesterday, they are already friends, and Kia knows tysons name, she gets excited when I say it. Starts looking around for him:)

Anyway, Here are some pictures of the house!!!

The Crap i HAVE TO watch:(

I have to watch these lectures for my CPA review. Some days this guy is the only interaction I get! These lectures are not boring, but they can be super annoying. And I often wonder, how did you get this job? I found this on youtube, a collection of his rants...

HA... oh Peter Olinto, I hope I am lucky enough to meet you someday:)

P.S. Still no news on grades! They were supposed to be out this week, maybe next week?

fAceLiFT

i JUST spent the last hour uploading and customizing this exciting new template for my blog!!!!!

Yesterday I was looking around at other peoples blogs and realized that the theme I had chosen (there's only about ten options!) was being used by a lot of people. I didn't like that!

S0....
I put to use some of my college computer class skills in html code, and switched around the colors and fonts of another template. I have to admit that I was surprised with my college recall. I often wonder... what exactly did I learn in college? And, when exactly am I going to use it?

P.S. NEW office is on tonight! Can't wait!

New Car!

Hey All, Can't believe it has been a week since I blogged. Truthfully I couldn't find the charger to my computer, and I wasn't all that interested in looking for it. I figured it would show up- and it did!

So, down to business. I got a new car!!!

It was a quick search, I knew what I wanted, and we found it within a few days! Still can't believe it's mine:) Now I'm ready for Denver and the mountains!

Continuing..... I do believe I promised the most recent picture of Shirley...

CREEPY!!

New Developments...

Hi ALL!

I'm back to the blog, it's been a busy weekend! I tried to blog from the car, but my iphone, (as fancy as it is) would not allow me to type in the right field. Saturday I went to the football game in Manhattan... so sad to be back and have nowhere to stay. It really made me realize all the change I've been through in the last year. All good change's of course:) Then Casey and I went onto Garden City on Sunday, played golf monday, and had a cookout with the family Monday night. On the way back to Wichita Casey got pulled over, not once, but twice. I was pretty intoxicated from drinking all day, and then vodka tonics at dinner- I honestly, barely remember the car ride. Just singing country music the whole way home. I woke up Tuesday and said "Did we really get pulled over 2 times!?" HA, I would love to have a hidden camera in the car on me when he was getting pulled over/ talking to the cop... so out of my character- I wasn't saying a word. Just chillin' shotgun, waiting for my music to get turned back UP!

Anyway... onto the new developments with Shirley.. i was looking through the pictures of the house, and I saw a very noticeable orb in the kitchen pic. It's got to be her:)

I'll post the picture this afternoon! I', in the middle of studying, but I had to inform you all! As this is a very interesting development in a seriously creepy story.

Pay it Forward.

Every single time I want to know a random piece of information I google it, and, it never fails to come up on yahoo answers. So today I joined Yahoo. Because I too, have questions.

Within about an hour of posting my first question I got an answer!!!

IF you are a curious person, I suggest you think about joining. I did, and now I'm one answer closer to knowing it all.

My goal by the end of the weekend... pay it forward & answer someone else's question. I'm off!!

Pumpkin Spice Latte!!!

What a way to start a crisp fall day! I thoroughly enjoy Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes (non-fat milk, no whip cream, 2 pumps of spice) today I was banking on a chai tea latte, but.... ahhh, the return of the pumpkin spice. What a surprise. What a glorious and uplifting surprise! So excited!! Just as fabulous as my taste buds remembered!

Also, If you don't know already, I have taken a sudden interest in oil painting.
Seriously.
I have seen these modern art pieces around and said to myself, or whomever I am with, "I can do that!" So I did... I am currently working on my third piece. Here is the unfinished look

Now I'm back to my art, latte in hand. So happy:)

UPDATE: The Finished Product:)

Today is the Day!

Today's the day! I'm officially starting a blog!!!

Since I am just a few weeks away from making my much anticipated big move to Denver, and I am about make some pretty exciting changes, I decided to start a blog, a great way to document my adventure, and share it with my family and friends!

First, Let me get you up to speed on my current circumstance-
I recently moved away from my second home... Manhattan, KS! I lived there on and off for six freaking years and I loved every minute of it, something magical about that town... most of you know what i mean.

Now I am a resident at my parents house, counting down the days until the big move... on September 25th!!!!

Here are a few pics of our place in Washington Park.

1490 South Vine, Home Sweet Home

The Kitchen, A little dated, but she'll do.

The Living Room, please note the awesome colorado fireplace!!

A bedroom

I will spare you pictures of the creepy basement, it's bad. This old lady lived here before us, she died. Now I am in the middle of an investigation into her death, it's posible she could have died in residence, which means her ghost could be a problem. I am aware of this and looking into ways of letting her know i come in peace. IF you have a suggestion, by all means, I'm open.

As you may have noticed from the pictures there is a wheelchair ramp along the side of the house, when I told my mom about the possible ghost resident she said, and i quote, "what is she gonna do to you? well, you may hear her zooming up and down that ramp, poppin' wheelies." WTF Sara jEAN? Poppin' wheelies? I have to admit that leaves a hilarious image in my mind, and I am going to go with it. She was probably a cool old lady, and she probably did zoom around in her wheelchair like a badass. And if I saw her at walmart I might want to be her friend. So maybe I'm the lucky one, living in her house and all.

More to come.. For now, I'm going to refer to her as Shirley. It's a sweet old lady name, but its got an edge to it. True to her personality I'm sure.

More to come, right now I've gotta run, I made enchiladas today (spinach and chicken) gotta put them in the oven, and get ready for dinner!!!
